Dr
Frank Richardson is the Hospital Director. Since graduating
from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1976, he has been in small
animal practice. His special interests are in medicine and orthopedic
surgery.
Dr. George Collard graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College
in 1991. This Maritimer owned a mixed animal practice (both large
and small animal) in Bracebridge, Ontario for 14 years before relocating
back to the Atlantic coast with his wife Susan, also a veterinarian,
and their two children. He currently is confining his practice to
companion animals.
Dr
Hubert Bennett is the most senior veterinarian on staff, having
graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1957. His years
of experience make him a valued asset to both the hospital and his
many clients.
Dr. Angie Runnalls is a second generation veterinarian from
Antigonish who received her DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College
in 2001. She currently resides locally with her husband and two
children. Her special interests in small animal health care include
feline medicine, dermatology and radiology.
Dr.
Fernando Moncayo graduated from the UNal of Columbia in 1987
and has been licenced to practice in Nova Scotia since 1989. Although
skilled in conventional veterinary medicine he is particularly interested
in the treatment of chronically ill animals using an holistic approach.
Dr. Moncayo is a certified acupuncturist (IVAS) and a homeopath
(AMHA).
